Merry Christmas

Last night we watched It's a Wonderful Life, a movie I have seen a zillion times, but this year it had special meaning in ways it has not before.

On my last day of holiday shopping this year I was in an elevator with another man who had also finished shopping. I looked at him and could tell his mind was heavy. At that very moment he looked up at me and said, " This year was very hard giving them my money for gifts". I agreed but said still we have so much to be thankful for and we both smiled and went on our way. His words and expression stayed with me the rest of the day and I hope this day he is enjoying his time with his loved one. I hope you too are enjoying this special day and not thinking only of gifts but in the love you give and receive. If there was ever a day about showing love this is it.

It always does the soul good to laugh so I want to share a blog post that had me in tears this morning from a good friend, Skip Cohen.

Enjoy and Merry Christmas to all!
