Elizabeth Smart

After eight long years finally Elizabeth Smart and her family have justice. The court system in America is broken and it seems to only get worse at times. Why it takes so long I have no idea, especially in cases like Elizabeth's with so much press and evidence. It seems like ages ago when I went to photograph her in Utah with her family for my book Lost & Found. Today a federal court found Brian David Mitchell guilty of abduction so finally Elizabeth Smart and her family can rejoice in the fact that justice has been served.
