Secrets for Mastering Lighting

I am often asked about different aspects of photography but lighting always seems to come up. The secret to mastering your lighting is simply to know your lights inside out. In order to do that you need to run test on the different types of lights and light shaping tools at your disposal.

During the first evening event of the Creative Experience Photo Seminar I will spend time focused on four aspects of photography.
Part 1: Creativity
Part 2: Lighting
Part 3: Promotion
Part 4: Secrets to making great photographs

Because these elements are involved in every sector of photography this seminar is for all photographers, from wedding to fashion, editorial to advertising. Come join us on Monday, June 28th at the Sheraton Gateway Hotel in Los Angeles. Great raffle gifts include a Sony a550 camera package, four x-rite colorchecker passports, a one year membership to PPA and full Imaging USA registration. This event will be an exciting and inspirational night of photography.

You can't judge exposure on a monitor on the web. Each computer monitor needs to be calibrated every month. I use the Eye-One software to calibrate my monitors. You should try it Mark.

All the best!
